Peyton Manning was earning about $15.8 million in 2010. In 2011, he was already earning $18.96 million playing for the Indianapolis Colts. In 2011, Peyton Manning is considered the third highest paid quarterback in the NFL. The Colt executives believe that he would still be able to play at the level he played in 2010 for four more years. In this case, He will be earning $22.75 million in 2012, $27.26 million in 2013 and $32.7 million in 2014.
Critics believed that Manning is in a win-win situation here but he may put his health on the line by playing rigorously for four more years as if he did not get older. In considering his 12-year contract with the Colts, he did not miss a single football game in his contract.
If Manning demands a higher salary, for instance $30 million, he will be fully justified because considering the franchise scenario, he will be earning about $39.24 million in 2015 and another $47 million in 2016. Manning, who will be 40 at that time was still worth all of the money and salary the Colt's will be giving him. By this time, he has earned $180 million in 6 years. With all his cash laying around, Peyton has plenty to spend on his hobby - motorcycles. He has many of them, and with projected earnings, he will have no problem to pay for the motorcycle parts as well...

According to the rules of MLB of the two teams playing in any tournament, one is the home team and one team is deemed the visitor. It is the privilege of the visiting team to bat first (top of innings) and the home team does the fielding. The batting team is also referred to as offense team and their main aim is to score runs.
The home team is called defense team and it is their duty to prevent the offense team from scoring runs. To score runs the players of the offense team have to stand on the base, hit the ball thrown by the defense team, run to the other bases in a particular order crossing the home plate before making the 3rd out. After 3 outs it is the end of one inning and the second inning is started by switching the teams that is the home team will now play offense and try to score runs while the visiting team will play defense preventing them from doing so. At the end of both the innings the team with the highest score is declared winners.
But the main action in a game of baseball held regularly by MLB lies between the batter and the pitcher.
